‘Recognise Your Pelvic Floor’ Programme
Prevention, Training and Readaptation Unit
Recognising our pelvic floor is essential, as pelvic floor dysfunction can lead to urinary incontinence, anal incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. In women, this disorder is caused by multiple factors, which is why each case must be assessed and treated differently.
In your first consultation, we will examine your pelvic floor, using specific diagnostic tools such as ultrasound, manometry, electromyography, among others, that will enable a comprehensive assessment, with a view to establishing personalised, preventive and therapeutic strategies, using innovative technology, in order to minimise the problem and even avoid it in many cases. For this reason, specific programmes, such as ‘Recognise Your Pelvic Floor’, are adapted to each stage of a woman’s life, which enables an examination and treatment suited to each age.
