We offer an integrated care service for patients with vascular disease. To do this, we simply combine all the elements of preventive vascular medicine with the most up-to-date diagnostic and therapeutic techniques.
The Vascular Surgery Unit, led by Enrique Puras Mallagray, uses the resources available within Olympia to offer all the services required for the diagnosis and treatment of vascular disease in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Diagnostic service for the vascular exploration laboratory
The Unit handles:
- Cerebrovascular assessment (extracranial Doppler ultrasound).
- Upper and lower extremity arterial assessment.
- Assessment and follow-up of arterial reconstructions and vascular access for dialysis.
- Abdominal duplex ultrasound for diagnostic assessment and population screening of aortic aneurysms, aortoiliac occlusive disease and renal and mesenteric ischaemia.
- Assessment of venous disease such as thrombosis or varicose pathology.
Specific phlebology consultation with sclerotherapy and echosclerotherapy of varicose veins
One of the most compelling services offered by this unit is the possibility of undergoing outpatient treatments for varicose vein disease in our outpatient clinic. Our physicians have extensive experience in the use of the most modern methods of outpatient varicose vein surgery, ultrasound sclerosis and sclerosing microfoam treatments, which make it possible to manage varicose vein processes with minimal morbidity and excellent results.
