Resume
He holds a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Complutense University of Madrid and completed his specialty training in Urology at the Ramón y Cajal University Hospital, where he received the award for best surgical resident of his class. As a specialist, he has worked at Ramón y Cajal University Hospital in the Renal Surgery and Transplant Unit, as well as at Quirónsalud Madrid University Hospital.
He has conducted both clinical and basic research in kidney cancer and transplantation. His doctoral thesis focused on the identification of biomarkers for renal cancer using quantitative proteomics techniques. He is also a clinical professor of Urology at the University of Alcalá and an associate board member of the European Society for Transplantation in Urology.
He has authored more than 30 national and international publications and has presented over 50 oral communications at international conferences. Since 2019, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Madrid Urological Society.
He is accredited as a robotic surgeon with the Da Vinci system by Intuitive Surgical and Da Vinci Surgery.
His professional activity is primarily focused on the following areas of interest:
- Surgery for kidney cancer, prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and bladder cancer, with the application of robotic surgery in these pathologies.

- Surgery of the upper urinary tract using minimally invasive techniques, including robotic surgery.
- Endourology and advanced stone disease surgery.

- Surgery for kidney cancer, prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and bladder cancer, with the application of robotic surgery in these pathologies.
