Sports Nutrition, Clinical and Aesthetic Nutrition
Good nutrition and a balanced diet combined with physical activity is the cornerstone of good health.
According to the WHO, nutrition is the intake of food in relation to the body’s dietary needs. Good nutrition and a suitable, well-balanced diet combined with regular physical activity is the cornerstone of good health. At Olympia we have three specialised nutrition services: Sports, Clinical and Aesthetic nutrition
Featured treatments
Sports Nutrition
aimed at helping the athlete to achieve their best performance both in competition and in training.
To do this, we take measurements of the patient’s body composition and metabolism. In addition, we analyse their training schedule and competitive calendar in order to know the energy and nutritional requirements of each day.
At Olympia we also work with other health professionals who, with complementary studies such as stress tests or calorimetry, can obtain accurate data on the performance and characteristics of each athlete.
Clinical Nutrition
aimed at adapting nutrition to the individual characteristics of each patient. The aim is to plan a suitable diet for the different pathologies associated with nutrition, such as inflammatory intestinal diseases, digestive problems, intolerances or allergies, and endocrine system pathologies such as anaemia, diabetes or obesity.
Aesthetic Nutrition
focused on the search for the optimum body composition for each individual. By using accurate anthropometric measurements such as bioimpedance or metabolic measurements such as calorimetry, we can calculate our desired goal and establish a precise nutritional plan for fat loss or muscle gain to achieve it.
